Talat Ban Mai

Talat Ban Mai or Talat Rim Nam Roi Pi (ตลาดบ้านใหม่หรือตลาดริมน้ำร้อยปี) It is a traditional market by the Bang Pakong River and has been here for more than 100 years. This riverside community has reflected the villagers’ way of life since before the reign of King Rama V.

At Talat Ban Mai, the local community has revived its 100 year-old riverside market on the eastern end of Chachoengsao province.
Open during weekends and public holidays, the well-preserved market offers visitors glimpses of traditional town life and an opportunity to taste a myriad of Thai and Chinese delicacies for which the area is known.
The Ban Mai riverside market offers a wide variety of local delicacies, a lot of witch is rarely served in tourist areas.
