Cruzeiro Square

It was from the Plaza do Cruzeiro where Brasilia started. The cross marks the point of 1,172 meters of altitude, chosen as the beginning of the Monumental Axis, which cuts the Plano Piloto in the east-west direction. The sunset seen from the Plaza do Cruzeiro is breathtaking, with magical colors in the sky of Brasilia.
