Black River Park

Located in the Orla neighborhood of São Raimundo, Rio Negro Park is a public area, with free access, offering a diverse program. The leisure and cultural complex is part of the Igarapés de Manaus (Prosamim III) Social and Environmental Program of the Government of the State of Amazonas, financed by the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) for environmental, urban and housing requalification of the city. administration is the Secretary of State for Culture.

In the landscape of Rio Negro Park, the building that attracts attention is that of Fábrica Miranda Corrêa, founded in 1912 - a beautiful and imposing construction, clearly reminiscent of a castle of Germanic influences. The Miranda Corrêa family was responsible for the production of the Amazon beer, XPTO, which was later sold to another international brewery. In this tower, also was installed the first elevator of the Amazon.

Structure

The complex, which measures over 36,000 square meters, has an urbanized area with hiking trails, gardens, gazebo, gazebos, kiosks, squares and an open-air gym with 16 fitness equipment, as well as a playground with rubber floors, bathrooms, parking spaces, ornamental lighting, hiking trails and a garden.

• Theater, dance, music, circus activities, playful play and / or presentation of any nature, which are appropriate for the Rio Negro Park, provided that the Culture Secretariat has authorized in advance;
• Walking with dogs of small and medium size, since on the collar and with muzzle;
