Ceará Museum of Culture

The Ceará Museum of Culture (MCC) is an ethnographic museum whose purpose is to promote the dissemination, enjoyment and appropriation of the Cultural Heritage of the State of Ceará, through museological actions of research, preservation and communication, aiming at inclusion and socio-cultural development.

MCC seeks to become an inclusive, knowledge-producing space through the relationship between formal, non-formal and informal education; and to express the culture of Ceará in a contextual and reflective way: their conflicts, contradictions and temporalities, valuing the cultural production of Ceará, their creativity and different ways of being, being in the world, relating to the environment and other social subjects.
