Praia do Mucuripe

Description

Mucuripe is a Brazilian beach located in the city of Fortaleza , in the state of Ceará . Praia do Mucuripe is the continuation of Praia do Meireles, in an easterly direction. The Mucuripe's boardwalk is a bit narrower than the Meireles boardwalk, but it's wide enough to attract lots of people, who come for a walk, walk or watch the strips on the sandbars. There are several tourist rafts scattered around Fortaleza, for tourists to take photographs, but in the Mucuripe, the rafts are actually used as a way of life for several families of fishermen. At the end of the seafront promenade, there is the fish and seafood market, where you can not only admire the abundance of fish, lobsters, squid and crustaceans, but also buy small portions and take them to be prepared in small tents, in the market itself. It is from the Mucuripe also that depart the boat trips where one can see the city from a different point. The vessels can carry a few dozen people, and are inspected to ensure the safety of the passengers.
