Pig farm

After the opposition took over Selangor in the 2008 general election, the state has seen rapid development in the agriculture sector, through the introduction of a mega-project pig farm that will cost the state government RM100 million. This project has received a lukewarm reception from the citizens of Sepang.

As of 29 November 2008, the proposal of the project is still on and will be developed in spite of the protests by the citizens of this area.
