New Vision for Life Found

Description

  New Vision for Life Foundation

The story began with an ordinary woman who lost her hope and everything in life and wanted to finish her life by committing suicide.

"In my past, I was a school teacher and a political idealist where there's no complete democracy at the time. I saw a lot of social inequality. Later I resigned from my teaching career and run my own business wanting build up my financial status. I thought that would make me successful and be part of social improvement more that before. Unfortunately, I was facing economic problem and became a bankrupt. Finally, I realized I had nothing left and went in a wrong way. Later, this also caused my family problem. And I had a cancer of vocal cords and could not use voice as usual. My teaching job ended and had could not see any ways to solve the problems but death. But then it ran into my mind a vision that I must live my life for other people in my country which was saved by our ancestors' lives. So, I intended to live for this vision and until it became New Vision for Life foundation. We began with the Hill Trip Children for Education project in northern part of Thailand and took care of orphaned children. I went to every village and saw many disadvantaged children that needed urgent care. My heart told me I had to help them even though I had so little.  Love is patient and kind. I wanted to help them with all my life. Today when I looked back into my past I find that it is more blessed to give than to receive. Love conquers all things. I learn that the most important thing in life is to live my life for others by loving them without expecting anything in return. Thank you for your support to build people for a nation.", says Lawan
